The liposuction machine

The suction is done using a machine that creates a vacuum, there is a similar technique with a suction machine, which in addition sends ultrasound waves to melt the fat. There are other machines that facilitate the operation of pumping and preparing the fat for transplantation, but at the end of the day the results are the same.

It is not recommended to pump a larger amount than 6 liters of fat. When the suction areas are small, it can be performed under local anesthesia and when the suction areas are more extensive, it is customary to perform under general or regional anesthesia. Liposuction is a process in which part of the body's fats are extracted, in places where the fats accumulate in an unaesthetic manner and in a way that does not disappear even after dieting, exercise, etc.

The stages of the analysis

• Mark the areas for suction on the patient's body.
• A large amount of physiological fluid is injected with local anesthetics and a vasoconstrictor in a ratio of 1:1.5 to the marked areas, the so-called WET TECHNIQUE.
• During the operation, a number of small openings are made, which allow the insertion of cannulas with a diameter of 3-4 mm. In each area, suction should be done in at least two directions to achieve a uniform suction.

Recovery from liposuction surgery

The patients leave the surgery with supporting belts (corset), to the suction areas and pumps that circulate the blood in the lower limbs to prevent visual embolisms.

The pressure belts must be worn during the first two weeks after surgery most of the day and the following two weeks only during the day. The purpose of the belt is to prevent the accumulation of subcutaneous fluids, in the space created between the skin and the muscle following the pumping.

The suction areas of the body will be very swollen, and without significant changes in volume, the swelling will gradually decrease, the significant decrease in volume is observed between the sixth week and three months, when the final result is obtained.
